Warren Buffett Gambling in Vegas, meeting Floyd Mayweather
At first glance, 84-year-old investment guru Warren Buffett and undefeated boxing champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather have nothing in common. However, there is a link between the two – they’re both filthy rich!
The two recently met in the gambling capital of Las Vegas, where Mayweather trains at his gym. And before the meeting happened, TMZ was able to get a few words from Buffett as he arrived at the gym.
The billionaire didn’t have much to say to the cameras since he looked pretty focusing on the meeting. However, when asked about which casino games he likes, Buffett did say, “I like em’ all – not roulette (though).”
We’re not sure why he doesn’t like roulette, but everybody has their preferences. Buffet also added, “I like to beat the house, that’s what I specialize in.”
Little is known on Buffett’s gambling habits and which Vegas casinos he prefers. But wherever he plays, it’s a good bet that he’d have no trouble getting into the high stakes room. Buffett has an estimated fortune of $67.3 billion, which ranks him third behind Carlos Slim Helu ($83b) and Bill Gates ($80.9b). At 84 years old, Buffett continues to defy age by leading his highly successful investment company Berkshire Hathaway.
As for Mayweather, he’s made most of his money in the boxing ring. The 37-year-old is currently the WBC welterweight champion and WBA (Super) super welterweight champion. He boasts a 46-0 record and remains boxing’s biggest Pay-per-View draw.
Like Buffett, Mayweather also enjoys gambling, although he didn’t appear to interested in chatting with TMZ about it. The Michigan native has become legendary for his multi-million sports bets, which he commonly likes to put on instagram and twitter. If Buffett’s advice is as good as always, Mayweather will have even more money available to continue placing his giant sports bets.
